The Planning Phase, usually combined with the Strategic Planning Phase, will provide a detailed description of the recommended proposed project.
BCI consultants will use the Strategic Planning information to define potential project options. We will develop conclusions and recommendations using information gathered about such things as population trends, household income, employment and business distribution, competing financial institutions, traffic analysis and other information.
Next, we will review your membership or customer information, plotting such things as distribution of members or customers and lending and deposit activity. At the same time, our financial analysts will review the growth history of the institution by reviewing asset, lending, deposit and member or customer development over the past 5 and 10 year time periods.
And, finally, our analysts will study your existing facility and new sites, if applicable. Based on the information gathered and analyzed, we will develop a set of conclusions which will detail our findings. Specific recommendations will be presented and detailed. This will include a written program of the project requirements, detailed schematic drawings illustrating the solutions, a cost estimate and a project schedule.
We will provide a formal presentation to you with the following information and materials:
- Detailed program identifying staffing and space requirements.
- Analysis of remodeling, expansion or new location options.
- Presentation and analysis of available site locations, if applicable.
- Recommended project alternatives such as remodeling, expansion or a new location.
- Detailed site and floor plans of the recommended project.
- An exterior design concept.
- An interior design concept.
- A schedule for the completion of the project.
- An accurate cost estimate for the entire project.
At the end of this phase, you will have all of the necessary information to make your decision for a project.
